DIRECTIONS to Camp de Benneville Pines

    Camp de Benneville Pines is the Pacific South West District ("PSWD") UU camp and conference center, nestled in the beautiful SAN BERNARDINO MOUNTAINS at an altitude of 6800 feet.  It is about 75 miles east from Los Angeles and about 130 miles north from San Diego

HOW TO GET THERE:
From Los Angeles: Take Interstate 10 east to Redlands (about 60 miles)-- Or,
From Highway 91 heading east (Riverside Fwy.) — Take HWY 215 heading northeast for about 6 miles; then take Interstate Hwy 10 heading east for 6.7 miles to Redlands;
From San Diego:   Take Interstate 15 north for 53+ miles  At the Y just north of Temecula, go right on Interstate 215 (Riverside/San Bernardino) for 34+ miles.  Merge with Interstate 91/215 in Riverside toward Barstow/San Bernardino.  Continue on I-215 north for 5 miles and then go east on Interstate 10 to Redlands.

  • In Redlands, exit Interstate 10 at University. Turn left at the end of the ramp.
  • Go north to Lugonia (CA Highway 38).
  • Turn right (East) and follow Highway 38 into the mountains.
  • After passing through Mentone it's about 15 miles to ANGELUS OAKS.  -- When you come to the Forest Fall Fork in the road, do not go there! Keep to the left.
  • Pass through the hamlet of Angelus Oaks and continue another 6 miles. Watch for a large white mailbox on the left and  turnouts on both sides of the road.
  • Immediately on your right is the turn off to Jenks Lake Road West (If you see signs for Seven Oaks or Glass Road, you have passed the turnoff).
  • Drive about one mile to the camp entrance; watch for the "de Benneville Pines" Camp sign on the right.
  • Follow the unpaved road into the camp parking lot and  PARK FACING OUT (Forest Service Rules).
