"Raise the Roof"
Capital Fundraising Campaign
Our camp looks great! We're booked most weekends and all summer for the next several years.
We're busy, busy, busy!
This is great news but puts pressure on our infrastructure to perform beyond its capacity.
The hard freezes of January 2007 broke water pipes that were not buried deeply enough---
our facility was built in the 1920's as a summer camp.
We need to upgrade our plumbing and sewer systems for year-round, full capacity use.
Our hillside location means that snowmelt and rainstorms drain down our roadways.
We need to grade and improve the roads to keep them from rutting and washing away.
Perhaps most importantly, we need to provide habitable living spaces
for the year-round staff, especially our valued Camp Manager.
The Director's Cabin is in need of major repairs and improvements:
appliances, plumbing, walls and floorplan must all be upgraded.
We need your assistance to raise the $350,000 required to make these improvements.
