13th Annual
Women's Retreat
Camp de Benneville Pines
This year's retreat is set to be exceptional, with many beautiful women lending their talents.
Organizers Sharon Goodlove, Elle' Long and Mia Forbes have invited storytellers, writers, singers, artists, dancers, healers, yoginis, social activists, photographers and hand crafters to share their stories with you. As the weekend unfolds, you will have opportunities to tell your story, in your own personal style, in the medium of your choice.
As we live we create our stories---each action we take, choice we make, and situation we find ourselves in, the people we connect with and the memories we make are all part of the story. Each day we arrange, create and contribute to the story of our life. When we pay attention to how we live, look at what makes it possible for us to keep going, who and what are important to us, acknowledge what we strive, pine, reach for and achieve, our life becomes intentional and our story more meaningful.
Spend a weekend with us. Retreat from your every-day life and take time to find your story. Share the stories that bind us together and join our community of Women as Storymakers.
Join award winning Storyteller Karen Golden as she weaves a tapestry
of stories from the fabric of her life, her rich Jewish heritage and world folklore.
Go on a journey in time and space without leaving your seat.
Audiences applaud Karen as a performer, writer, speaking coach,
teacher and recording artist.
"She is funny, inspiring, outrageous and real!"
Explore the stories of our mothers, grandmothers, sisters, daughters
and the other women who have given voice to our story journeys.
Discover the stories that link us together as women.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will have the opportunity
to share stories in a safe environment. We will also explore what
makes a memorable story and how to improve our storytelling skills.
